Emily Mortimer

Emily Mortimer is a British screenwriter and actor. She is also known for her notable contribution to Hollywood films. A former theater student with an outstanding history, Mortimer has an unassuming image. She was a part of 'Mary Ppins Returns', which was the sequel to 1964's cult classic musical 'Mary Poppins. This film marked an achievement for Mortimer. She was a quirky French associate in the film series Pink Panther as well as an ambitious and powerful news editor for the show The Newsroom. Emily Kathleen Anne Mortimer, born in Hammersmith in the year 1971, on the 1st December to the famous lawyer and barrister Sir John Mortimer, and Penelope Gollop was the daughter of Penelope Gollop and a well-known writer. Emily has many siblings. There is a half-brother in her, Jeremy as well as a half-sister, Sally as well, both of whom are from the marriage of her father's former wife to writer Penelope Fletcher. Rosie is her sister younger. She also has a half-brother known as Ross Bentley, from her father's friendship with actor Wendy Craig. Mortimer went to the St Paul's Girls' School (London) where she was a student. She was a student of English and Russian in Lincoln College at Oxford University, graduating with a degree from Oxford University in the year 1994.
